Default One exceptional U-boat box amunition

Some of those box where find in the past , but first time with the carring strap about 700 round can be safe inside , out of water
Alls we know , the strap is cut near the "hooks"/"rings"
The strap is 1,65 meter long at the max and 1,13 meter at the mini !
The box is like the other seen , brass or bronze and box in zinc
The original label present here has been scratched in ancient times but seems to be for the 700 rounds .
I do also a post on Still forum now and in the past , here the link , if the moderator agree, if not delete

Thanks for the tour of your Marine Ammunition Box collection, Patrice. These are fascinating pieces with all their different materials assembled in harmony to keep the ammo dry. I wonder how much pressure they can withstand.

Very cool - I've never seen a box like that !
It appears heavily pitted on the flat surfaces, like it may have been underwater for a while. And a solid brass door ? Wow !!
