If anyone owns this gun I have your capture paper.

I'm doing a presentation on capture papers at the P38 forum meeting next year and have been collecting some unusual papers from Ebay and bought the paper for $20.

If you have the gun, it is yours.

I have also filed FOIA forms to get the WD circular information that is referenced on the capture documents.

My research on the capture documents has turned up some great information on the orders that are in the circulars and morphed over time for language in the papers and what the GI's could bring back.

The Pacific Theater also had a different set of orders on separate documents from the European Theater.

It will take me a few more months to get all the documents referenced in other non standard capture papers for a complete picture on what actually happened in WWII with the orders.

I also have a good connection now with the National Archives for a quick turn around on the US documents of the orders that are referenced on the papers.

If you can make it to Louisville next year I will have some great research for you guys at my Power Point presentation at the p38 Forum meeting for capture papers.
