C&R is very personalized. Looks like common situation being C&R dealership owner also being a collector, so when the owner passes away, either the business closes the door or changes direction to something else. As a business, seldom heard of C&R dealership could pass more than two generations.... sometimes heard "I ran here and there into shows with my father when I was a kid,,,," (such as handgunsoftheworld, if I remembered correctly), but that's very rare case. It's also rare to hear a collector saying "I had this collection coming from family" -- it's common to see people selling family C&R from time to time, but most of them are not collectors, two or three pieces from previous generations, obviously not systemically collected.
