I am building up a shooter and came across a couple of parts that I found odd.
First, what is this safety lever for? I was trying to put it on and noticed it did not have a detent (wrong word) but pin to hold the safety lever? Its not broken, its just not there and the end is squared? Then I went to put on a mag catch and it's BENT? How does a mag safety get bent except on purpose?? Ed |

The safety lever with the square end is for a grip safety Luger (1900-1906).
I would say that it is impossible to bend a magazine catch. Why it would be machined differently I have no idea. How about a few more photos of the catch. Is the checkered end of the catch round? Is it the same diameter as a standard catch?
