OK guys' heres what happened....after soaking the part in penetrating oil overnight, I found a dental pick and, (just as Hugh and Tom figured!!) I could access the plunger thru the retaining pin hole, and it came free almost immeadiatly!! The previous owner had pushed the plunger (rusty) back into the searbar (also rusty) and then put it up for sale....lucky me! The dental tool worked like a charm, Thanks again to all who contributed...now we know!!
Also, be careful which way the retaining pin hole are facing when you give the searbar a shot of WD-40!! If positioned incorrectly, it will shoot a stream of WD-40 right in your face/mouth etc..... If this should happen to you, immeadiately delute the WD-40....with a cold beer taken internally, I would recommend five to six treatments....if time and finances permit!! Till....later...GT |

A pushpin (sharp end...duh) is just about the right size to go into the but it might not work as it is not curved.

I concur with your WD40 cure. Unfortunately in my case, it was an unintential bit of a Habanaro chili, and the beers only proved of limited success. Tom h.

Milk. The only cure for ther dreaded Habanero Mouth. Beer just spreads the capsicum around.
Sorry there's no Luger content here, but Habanero pepper is something I know a bit about --Dwight |
