In very nice shape with matching magazine and unit marking. Has an incorrect sideplate that has had a grinding job on the original number and a forced match attempted. What is a fair price - considering? Needless to say I need a 1916 sideplate # 20. Fat chance huh?

Tough call there, eh? The sideplate by all rights should make it a $800 shooter, but the good condition , matching mag, etc, complicates things.
I'd certainly want to be in no deeper than $1200 with $1000 sounding better. And remember that one of every 100 DWM side plates is just what you want. What is the asking price? Close-ups of the side plate? dju |
