I want to order some aftermarket magazines but nobody appears to have the recommended ones in stock. Any leads?

Tony, everyone recommends the Mec-Gar mags for shooting; they're Italian made, I believe, and very good quality and function along with affordability. KKK mags are usually viable, as well, but not quite as good IMHO. East German post war, Swiss are theoretically find-able, many just like the excellent FXO style. Midway between the collectibles and the very modern in price would be a mag custom built for shooting--Check with G.T. here on the forum--who makes them--to see if he has any left. $100, IIRC.
Patience and persistence and Googling will pay off for you, perhaps sooner than you'd expect; hang in there.

Hey Tony, I have a few MecGars that have the G.T.
springs in them. I got them when he was over to my house a few years ago. My wife and I are going to photo inventory the safe this weekend, when they re-surface I'll PM if you're really interested.![]() Joe |

In the FWIW department, after looking endlessly for Mec-Gars with zero success, I bought a $40 no-name from eBay and it works just fine. I got lucky I guess...
