I grew up with an unhealthy facination with old British double rifles. And after shooting a lot of rounds thru them I find I'm sometimes a bit flinchy. Imagine that...

I once shot a 10 bore double rifle,offhand of couse.I believe the load might have been 6 drams of FG Blackpowder,what a gas.This was back in the 70's and no cases could be had, so the rifles owner hired my father, a machinest, to make cases for him.But of course we had to try them out at the local rifle range, just to see if they would work.Lots of fun and the only time i ever shot a real big game rifle.The first broadside had everyone come to see what it was of course.
