Default Luger Info

I recently aquired a P08 made by DWM with a serial number of 4961. It has matching numbers and is about 60 to 70 percent blue. I was wondering aboutthe date of production and any other info
It also came with what appears to be a original holster but it is not marked in any way. The clip is unmarked aluminum and the top of the barrel has two dates of 1918 and 1920. There is also a number 882 stamped on the bottom of the barrel. Any idea of value and age would be appreciated. I plan on shooting it because I know its not in collector condition and I only buy guns to shoot . I am on my phone and will add some pics later when I have my computer.

you have a WW1 luger that later received a gov't stamping of 1920 (not really a year) and we will need more information to pin point it.

There should be a suffix letter on the underside of the barrel

the 8,82 is the land to land measurement

So, made by DWM in 1918 and then served into the Weimar period

I wanted to thank you for replying and to let you know that I reposted a thread with pics. I am going to add some here to and that any other info would be appreciated. I was curious about the value, even though I plan on keeping the pistol. I gave $850.00 for it and a holster and wondered who got the better deal. Me and my friend did not have any real idea of value.
