On my 1st issue the safety bar and safety lever are unnunbered . In looking at Jan's books and Gortz and Sturgess they all show the 1st issue without digits of the serial number on these parts. What is correct? My 1910 has the digits as do Jan's. Were the first ones without digits on these parts? Thanks Bill

Hi Bill, DWM 1st Issues were numbered Commercial style (as were 1906 Navies), and the sear bar, safety bar, thumb safety and firing pin were unnumbered.

Thank you Norm,
I know this info is intended for Mr. Lyon, but I was unaware and have now confirmed my 1st issues are correct. Respectfully, Mark |
