It has been refinished at some point, otherwise, looks good, 1375a I estimate would have been made, oh around 1932 or so?

The stock lug eagle's show it was a frame made by Simson

The toggle with the stamping of Simson & Co is right in the middle of a bunch of S toggles (this is not uncommon, as there are Simson & Co interspersed all through the a suffix of my database)

Can i get a right hand side, specifically of the acceptance and proof markings?

Can I get a high resolution of the stock lug markings, it sure looks like one is a standard eagle 6 and the other the wings are spread?

Default Possible Overstamp on the first digit.

To me, under magnification, it looks like the first digit is the number "1" stamped over an existing "2"...

The font however appears correct... so it may have been done at the factory.

Ed, have you seen other examples of Simson Lugers with overstamped numbers?
