Non Luger unit markings

I realise this isn't a luger, its from a Gewehr Commision carbine I was just hopeing unit markings were the same for pistols and rifles.

It is a KAR 88. The marking indicates Bayerische Reserve Schwere Reiter Regiment 1, 1st Eskadron, Waffe 63 ( Bavarian Reserve Heavy Cavalry Regiment 1, 1st Squadron, weapon 63). Almost all the KAR 88s I have seen were Bavarian unit marked. More photos would be nice to see.
