The front grip strap is marked:
B.10.R.8.2
This is a 1911 chamber date, no stock lug, no hold open. Pictures above. I have no reference to research the unit marking. I haven’t posted here in a long time but felt that with the vast wealth of knowledge here, someone could point me in a good direction.

Part of the I Royal Bavarian Reserve Corps you can look this up on Wikipedia hope this helps Kevin

Ron,
Thanks. My collecting tends to run in spurts. I’ve had three children in college, so pricey hobbies kind of went by the wayside for the last several years. My youngest is almost done and when I saw this one, I had to. The price was right and it is even cleaner that the photos make it look. Everything matches except the magazine, which is kind of a shame given the state of preservation. I still have a 1900 commercial that would look spectacular with a set of Chinese carved dragon grips.
