Default bad springs, twice/////

Hello, i just wanted others to comment on bad springs bought for the hold open on a P-08. I tried two springs from one each from Sarco and Numrich and both snaped upon installation on hold open lever, these flat spring are not springs but are brittle, either no heat treat or left in oven to long, were can i get a real leaf-spring , i mean one that really works... I need to contact Tom H. he might have some orig. springs. tx. Matt

Matt, Even with the best quality HO springs that I sell, they may break if not installed correctly. Best let Howard install them if you've already broken two of them. TH
