Jerry, if you are listening... and I know you are. I think it is about time for you to introduce your new book...

The Lugerholsterrepair Chronicles... A book full of before's and after's... You can bet it would sell!

Add some chapters of your craftsman experiences, and pass on some (not so secret) trade secrets... it might pay for your next collectible or your ammunition for a couple of years eh?

I would bet that Ellie has been taking these photos all along hasn't she?

Thanks to all of you for your kind words..Bob had a challenging project. I always try to restore my piece to as original as it can be and in this case I think it came out pretty well!

John, I have thought several times about just what you mention but I really have no time. Take the photo's..do a writeup collect it all and publish. I am extremely busy doing what I do and collecting enough work for a book would take up whatever life I have left over after repairs. It's a one man shop and you would be amazed at how many hours it takes to do this kind of work right.
Besides..a book like that would be a vanity thing really..a VERY small segment of the collecting community would have any interest.

Thanks to all who have seen and commented on my work here..A always it is much appreciated to have a client brag about my humble skills.

Jerry
