Lester looks like a Miscovy(sp?) We had one like him in our back yard in California many years ago. Whenever my wife would be working in the garden, the duck was right beside her looking for snails. For years our back yard was free of snails and other crawley creatures. Unfortunately a racoon got him one evening.
