I do not own a luger (yet) i am currently looking for a 9mm shooter. Wanted to ask the pro's here where is a good place to look. Any preference to ww1 or ww2 production? trying to stay between $500-700. thanks in advance.

Keep an eye on the "Want to Sell" Forum on this list. Towards the bottom of the main page.

Greetings!
Your financial parameters are within reason, and this is a very good place to look. A pretty honest bunch.
Put a post in the wanted section when you are ready.
Regarding WW1 or WW2, I like to look at the WW1 stuff, but most of these guys agree that WW2 guns may be a bit less prone top breakage. Keep your money in your pocket and read all you can. Your first Luger will be here before you know it. Then you can start planning for #2.
