Handmade Luger grips

I'm not a fan of such things, and they are pricey, but you gotta appreciate the guys handiwork. He has several different styles. Would be cool to create a "presentation" refinished shooter for someone. I guess I'm saying they look phenomenol but creep the collector in me out.

Everyone should have a shooter luger that they personalize.

I could stamp my birth year, 1969, over the chamber and put my initials "CR" in tiny intertwined script on the rear where "GL" appears on Georg's presentation pieces. Then there's engraving possibilities.

Wow that could be quite a project. Hmmm.

I like the grips too.

However, that is a lot of money to send to a seller who only has 15 transactions on Ebay and lives in Greece.

And what does this statement in his listing mean: "The new grips are durable, have a life of four to five years, and, if cared for, much longer."

If you pay that much, shouldn't you expect they would last longer than that?

For the amount of handwork that goes into these grips, I believe they are very reasonably priced. I like them.

My only concern is that he made mirror images of each side, with both sides relieved for the safety. I'm not sure how this will look once on the pistol...

WOW! Now that's dedication to a craft! If you scroll down on one of his listings he explains how it's done. Pretty incredible actually.
Not my style or taste but I am sure they will be popular among other than WW1 military collectors.
