Question for Ideal Stock owners...

Looked at one with a hole that was obviously made by the front sight in the front top of the leather. Real good leather too..... The gun must have been carried in the stock/holster. There are more than a few tracks in the top inside to indicate many insertions/removals.

Is this a common problem with these????
