Default 1917 Erfurt Luger

Ok, I realize the picture is blurry and I have very few details but wondering if anyone can see any issues with this Luger.
Its going up for auction locally to me, but I wont be able to make it. i am going to put in a proxy bid for it. It should go for a low price unless someone is specifically looking for this one. I have seen past prices and they have been fantastic for Lugers. Anything glaringly obvious?

LUGER MODEL PO8 MFG BY ERFURT DATED 1917 SER # 8724D

Thanks in advance

It looks reblued to me... so I would only bid a shooter price.

Reblued and highly buffed. Don't offer more than $6-700 from what I can see

If it's in an auction, put buyer's premium and shipping cost into consideration. That's money as well.

If you can't get your hands on it for examination and you can't get it for under $500 total, walk away. We know it has been sorely over-buffed and has the wrong mag. I have to assume there are other issues that we can not see from this one photo. Probably mismatched. May not function. Bore could be toast.
I'd rather buy a shooter off this list than gamble money on this one.
Course it could have been Hitler's personal weapon...

Thanks guys. I thought it looked refinished as well. My offer was going to go in at way less that what was posted above.
