Default Reichrevolver M79

Well got a new toy today. It will never be the Belle of the ball but I like it. I wish it was in better shape but the price was reasonable. I found it interesting that almost every screw was numbered with the last digit of the serial number in Luger fashion. Over-all the revolver is a brute of a gun.

One thing I would like to know more about is the troop stamp (13.R.A.2.119). Anyone have any idea which unit it could be?

13. Reserve Feld- Artillerie Regiment (wahrscheinlich) 2 Batterie Waffe Nr. 119.

Klaus,

That is interesting since I purchased the pistol in Baden Württemberg so it made it home.
