Well got a new toy today. It will never be the Belle of the ball but I like it. I wish it was in better shape but the price was reasonable. I found it interesting that almost every screw was numbered with the last digit of the serial number in Luger fashion. Over-all the revolver is a brute of a gun.
One thing I would like to know more about is the troop stamp (13.R.A.2.119). Anyone have any idea which unit it could be? |

13. Reserve Feld- Artillerie Regiment (wahrscheinlich) 2 Batterie Waffe Nr. 119.
Bin mir leider nicht ganz sicher hinsichtlich der Reserve Feldartillerie Regimenter, aber wahrscheinlich war es ein Württembergisches Regiment. Sicher ist aber, dass das 13. Res. Art. Reg. im I. W.K. zur 13 Reserve Division gehörte und an den Kämpfen um Verdun und an der Somme sowie in Flandern teilnahm. Gruß Klaus |

That is interesting since I purchased the pistol in Baden Württemberg so it made it home. Sorry for not resonding in German, I can read it but not write it well. thanks again |
