I'm putting together a 6" barreled shooter. Started with mixed numbered Mauser that had seen better days. My problem is that my eyes aren't that great anymore and seeing the stock Luger sights is hard. I can see my Colts and Rugers that have square adjustable sights ok. Anybody have any pictures of a luger with decent sights. Cutting the toggle to install them is an option. This is a shooter so any ideas would be welcome.

Jim, Many of the PO8s imported from Norway have the "v" appeture opened up to a "U" shape for better viewing of a wider P38 front sight blade. I do have new P1 front sights with white out line in stock @$25 or older luger brass (gold?) bead front sight blades @$35 + $3 S&H. TH

Thanks Tom,
I don't suppose there is any way to get a picture of the bead front sight blade. Jim JIMHAY97@msn.com |

Jim, Sorry but I'm not set up to send photos. The bead front sights are actually thinner than the original sight, but have a rounded apex rather than the pointed original. TH

Jim,
They probably look like this one, only with a brass bead instead of an ivory one.
