Exclamation Need help!

A few weeks ago I was given a 1915 DWM Luger with all matching numbers besides the magazine but I was curious about the number on the backside of the handle
( L.I.R.382.M.G.A.64)

Landwehr Infanterie Regiment 382 Maschinen Gewehr Abteilung (Waffe) 64.

I wonder about the "A" in M.G.A. and will wait for the photos.

Regards Klaus

I would say some 0000 steel wool or better yet, copper 0000 wool and oil and rub down all the metal parts. It won't hurt the finish, and will take out the light rust it appears to be on the metal.

Less is better, but some good rubbing down would help.
