I found several new copies selling at online bookstores for around $19.95.

Do a search for "Luger" "book" "John Walter"

I don't know about the price of a "used" book, but I just bought the paparback on Amazon for 13.96 (The Luger Story). The hardcover sells there for 31&change.

Default Which Book?

Hi Schwob,I have 3 different books by Walter. The one that I found the hardest to find but also the most useful is "The Luger Book:The encyclopedia of the Borchardt and Borchardt-Luger handguns,1885-1985"I innocently asked a question here one day and ended up with 19 books a printer and a membership in NAPCA. I agree with Mike, that "The Luger Book" "The Encyclopedia..." by Walter is a good reference. Wouldn't it be great if Walter, Stills and Kenyon updated their books and gave color pictures. It would cost us a fortune to update our libraries though.
