Ed? Really? Gosh, I'll have to save up my lunch money... LOL

Why is that? Most of 'em get shortened back to 100mm after the war?

Super nice guns. I saw an Erfurt 1914 on FGS. They did not post the asking price, just says POR. That's a little bit unusual. It must be a very expansive item. Using Ed's 30% rule, I guess they probably ask 13-14? God knows. Lunch money cannot get this one, you have to cut bigger corner

I saw the one on FGS, and I asked. 10K. I may be a little nuts, but....

This one is a Grand Old Dame. Showing her age nicely. Only thing is the safety lever, the part that blocks the sear, is Erfurt inspection stamped, but not numbered. Imperial guys? A armorer's replacement, maybe?

According to Still's Central Powers Pistols, The estimated production of DWM 1914 LPO8, is 750-1500.

JTD? Marked? You mean proofed? It is all correct, all matching including the mag. Which has the two Erfurt proofs on the bottom. See closer pics of it in my albums or under Gun Show find.

Oh. Took the third cup o coffee to understand your question. No,it is not unit marked. The DWM is though. With a D9.
I was told this might be the Ninth Dragoons.
