I have been offered from an estate of a WW2 vet a bringback which best I can tell is a DWM .30 cal commercial. Has 4 digit SN 5xxx N. No eagles, crowns etc. Has Germany marked.
Wood, straw and bore are great. All SN match. He accepted my offer of 1k. Did I do ok?? Its been a safe queen since 1946, he is a friend whose dad died. 4 inch barrel no cracks in wood. no pitting or rust |

Totally inpossible with out numerous photos to be really accuarte in guessing a value.
As it sounds, it is a commeriical that was sent out of germany and to the USA in the 1920's and 1930's. A $1,000 is high for a 7.65mm luger, unless in very nice shape and then I have seen tem from $1,000-$1200 Ed PS: welcome to the forum!
