Waffen Regista?

Hi all anyone have any information about Waffen Regista? I guess it refers to Army Rack Number? I am interested in a BYF41 which has a Waffen Regista but I tried to Google it can't find anything at all.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Vernon,

Rack numbers were primarily used by the Police. Is it police marked, as with an Eagle/L ? Where is the number stamped? Does it have a sear safety installed?

Waffen Regista isn't a German phrase, so I can understand you had no luck using Google.

regista sounds like a rapper says register.
Register means index.
It is planed to have a nationwide Waffenregister in Germany within the next few years to have a better control of all legal guns registered in local county-offices.

Sounds like someone is referring to a marking on the pistol...Can you post a link to that auction??? Maybe someone can recognize the marks...
