I saw the piece on Sat. Read up on it in Kenyon and Still's . Went back on Sun. I applied everything I've learned on this site. Hoping I didn't forget anything, but I'm sure I did. I got into good light, soft background, 10X glass, Q-tips, tooth picks, etc.

Took about an hour to convince myself to buy it. comments please

1914 PO8 Erfurts are sought after by collectors looks like you did your home work and scored a winner congrats.

Based on your photographs your 1914 Erfurt looks correct and to be in nice condition. These are hard to come by.
