I sure like John Raum of Akron Ohio, he has sold me some really nice P.38s and I feel he is very reputable. Also see www.p38forum.com Lots of knowledgeable folks there too!John Raum

As Thor stated, John is a great and honest P.38 dealer. Another source is Syd Rachwal, Pompano Beach, FL. Syd usually has 3-5 of the common type P.38s for sale. I have dealt with Syd for a number of years and found him to be honest dealer and a true gentleman. You can call Syd at 954-979-0245. Syd also has many other pistols for sale, inlcuding holsters, magazines, grips, etc. Good Luck on your hunt.

Schwob,

You are right and I have bought several Luger from him. I have always found that his description to condition was a little better than he describes. He also sells other collectible pistols and has a nice variety.

Hi Guys.

I accidently came aross your discussion of the very question I wanted to _ask_.

It so happens I live in Cleveland and Akron is a little ways _south_ of here.

Never heard of John Raum.......but, you would trust him enough to buy a Luger sight unseen?

I have had some email contact with him. I was looking to get info on the status of PPKs in Massachusetts, but have not done actual business. It's my understanding he is the "authorized" Walther distributor in the US.
