My recent full rig byf serial # is 1972, no letter.
The acceptance stamps are both E/655. I have read this is a subvariation 2 as the serial number is within the 1000 - 9950a range but it lacks the E/135 acceptance stamp. Is this correct? The black grips are very common here, my four 41 byf's all have this feature although I read only perhaps only 1 in 5 are normally found. I don't think this one's had much use, the internals still are in the blue with little wear. The hoster's in good order too. Hope it meets with approval. ![]() [IMG] [IMG] Last edited by ChannelIsles; 01-04-2009 at 09:27 AM. |

Very, very nice byf rig. Just enough wear to be honest and great photos too. What kind of camera did you use?

That is a beautiful 41 byf.
Looking at Jan Stills data, acceptance stamp transition range was (approx): E/655 E/655. Up to about sn 4627. Mixed E/655 E/135. Sn 4627-7491. E/135 E/135. After sn 7491. Tom |
