Default Lugers in movies

Last night, I was surfin' channels and came across a black and white movie on Turner Classic Movies by the name of "Mrs. Miniver". It was made in 1942. I happened upon a scene where an English woman finds a German pilot (I assume he had been shot down) hiding in her garden. He wakes up and covers her with his Luger and makes her take him inside to get food and drink. This Luger stays in full view prominently for several minutes; long enough for me to see that the safety is off and that there is no round in the chamber! After a few more minutes, he passes out and she takes the Luger and hides it. Once the Luger was out of sight, I lost interest and went to bed.

I didn't recall this one on our forum list, but that doesn't mean it's not there. If it's not, it should be.
