New guy here. Would it be unusual to find a 1915 'standard' issue with a 6" bbl?

Welcome to the Lugerforum George.
"Standard" P.08 Lugers did not come with a 6 inch barrel. Must be a replacement. It could be that the gun was "commercialized" for sale after WW1, but without photos it would be impossible to make any other judgements. Can you post photos?

We look forward to seeing the photos when you take possession. It should be an interesting pistol if the 6" barrel is vintage and not a recent replacement.
