Juergen,

A cone hammer, tell us more. It has to be refinished. Randall Bessler had one like this a few years ago for $750. and I passed on it, and have regretted it ever since. How would you like to trade it for a nice imperial marked Red 9? KFS

Karl, she is definitely NOT refinished.
And thanks for the offer, but I'll have a Red 9 myself soon.
She'll come from the same private source as the cone hammer,
the P.04 and the LP08 I had posted yesterday, too.
Lots of Lugers there, stay tuned for more pics.

I haven't seen a conehammer that pristine since the one I used to own. It appeared unfired. Unlikely as it seems, such things do exist and appear from time to time. Congratulations on finding one.

She'll soon be accompanied by a Red 9 from the same source.

Very nice, Juergen,

Looks correct to me, down to the barrel band only found on the fixed sight versions; a very rare piece indeed, congratulations.

She's very pretty.

Many C96s in books start appearing on market recently..... a few Erickson's on RIA, a 20-shot on G-B, a SYSTEM MAUSER on Simpson, .... more still stay in books.
