I have an early type police style Luger holster that is marked: K. BUDDE BREMEN on the back. It does not have a date on it, or any other markings. Is anyone familiar with this maker, I can not find a reference to him anywhere?

I have seen at least one other Bremen made luger holster and it was WW1 vintage. I think yours may be a rework from P08 or LP08 to police style. Look for any stitching holes leftover from the original configuration.

It is just the opposite, it is a rework from a police style to a buckle style.

Unfamiliar to me. Maybe a very very early police luger holster from the teens or twenties. Maybe the rework company? I don't have an early police holster. The earliest I have seen has the twenties teardrop strap and the earliest I have in collection is a 1929 Fischer which is a typical police maker. Wish I could be of more help.
Does anyone know when the police style of luger holster was first made? |

Well, anyway, it is on it's way to Jerry for restoration to original police configuration!
