I wonder why they switched? Although on the old webpage; the 3 across pictures make me scroll over on my laptop which I hated...

Their old web address was sort of difficult to remember...at least for me...

http://www.fgsinc.8m.com/

I like how some of the new offerings have 5 photos...

Thanks Pete for the link!

Well, I sort of like the new Web Site
Much easier to find what your looking for and there appears to be more multi pics. Something they really needed.

Who buys from them-- Ok I am guilty, but so are many others.
Sometimes their just the only place in town that has the harder to fine Lugers.

Are the prices high, yes, but look what your getting!
They never hide anything from you, I have honestly tortured them by disassembling several guns and then looping them every micro mm, taking hours of their time at gun shows.
I will pay a premium to go home with a gun or order a gun knowing exactly what I am getting. I would never hesitate to send a new collector to their table at a gun show and have done so several times.

I am obviously very Pro FGS, should I end up with a less than desirable gun one day from their table--thats going to be mostly my fault.

Ok, thats enough free advertising

I would agree with Vern. I've bought 2 Swiss Lugers from FGS; a 1929 Red Bern and a 1906 Waffenfabrik Bern and Ken was willing to suffer through all of my many questions and to send multiple scans without complaint until I made the decision. Expensive? Yes, but both pistols have escalated in value at a better rate than my 401K since I bought them.

Hi David,

We can only hope for those $ 500 Lugers at gun shows...

Doug Smith is among the 3 or 4 dealers I trust 100%; he also has a collection of some of the most unusual pieces I have ever seen.

A great guy to do business with and a hell of a nice guy to boot!

I too will bang the drum for FGS. Doug Smith and Ken Clark are awesome. They bend over backwards for new luger lovers like myself. I'm with Tom A. I trust them 110%.................Jesse

David,

Actually on Swiss Lugers (the more common, less-rare varieties) and certainly on the Swiss revolvers, I think the FGS pricing is usually not bad and not too far above what private guys and fellow collectors at gun shows are asking.

I picked up 1/2 of my Swiss revolvers directly from sellers in Switzerland and the other half from Ken Clark at FGS...considering the misc. costs and time of bringing in a old revolver from CH into the USA, the costs were almost equal over the past 3-4 years.

Hi

For SIGP2101 and any other Canucks out there

I got my Red grip 06/29 Swiss Luger from FGS. Questar did the Export/Import stuff for me. It took about 7 to 8 weeks.

Keep in mind, Our wonderful Prime Minister was able to push back that stupid UN gun marking BS for 2 years. So you have 2 years to get something before some a$$ ruins your gun at the border.

Hey John D.

Could you add the FGS link to the links and resources page... I am not permitted to do FTP from my present assignment location at a federal agency...

Thanks...
