Question Value of my 42 Luger?

Hello everyone,

The reason for my first post here is a sad one, because I'm (pretty much) forced to sell my Luger P-08. I've read some articles on this forum but I still have no idea what to ask for it.

It's a 42 Luger, manufactured in 1940. The serial is 9031 and all serials (seem to) match (unfortunately I do not have the Luger with my, only some photo's). It does have some slight damage (putting it's called?) as you can see on the pictures. It's accompanied by a holster and two magazines (serials don't match).

So, the main question is, what's a reasonable price for this Luger + accessories? Thanks for your help!

PS. Dunno if it's important but I'm trying to sell in Europe (Netherlands)

Or maybe someone could give comments about it's (general) appearance/condition, not directly linking a value to it?

We have a long tme member in the Netherlands... be patient and I am sure he will comment on your pistol... and it's likely value.

Welcome to the Lugerforum and we are sorry that you are in a position where you are forced to sell your Luger.

What's going on behind the extractor?

Similar question with the ejector...is the right-most section just dark or broken off ?

hmm.. say the replacement extractor is just as ill fitted as it looks.
Pinching the shell way to hard against the breechblock. As it cycles, the empty shell hits the extractor as it should, but since it's 'stuck there', causing the tip of the ejector to snap?

Can't say anything about value where you live, but here it would be about 200EUR incl mags.
