I can shrink my pictures to acceptable size, but cannot figure out how to insert them in the text. When I tried, they are shown as url's but the pictures don't come up in the text. I am sure I am being thick. What is the trick? Thanks

there are some tips and hints somewhere on the forum, but I don't know where the &&% I put them
![]() edit your post, whereever it has the letters URL make them IMG computers do EXACTLY what we tell them, so the url ("Uniform Resource Locator," this is the address of a resource on the Internet.) or something like that tells the computer you are on, hey, this is a LINK. By putting in the IMG (image) it says, holy moley, this is a picture! (image) and shows it as a picture. if someone clicks on the url they come up as a picture, unless you screwed up in copying the url... :P then just upload the picture again Ed
