Default My 1917 Artillery

I picked this up from a family member of a vet.
Grip and Mag do not match and it has the Grip chip but it is my first Art. and I am beginning to like Art's very much. I plan on taking it to the range shortly and see how it shoots. Hope you like it

Can you tell me what the letter is?

Grip Chip

Mag does not match

congraulations! a real nice one! thanks for sharing pics with us.
by the way, I don´´t shoot my collectable guns because I´´m afraid of breaking something using modern ammunition.

EW,

Nice piece. Congtratulations !

BTW...Jan Still is collecting info. on LP-08 fine tuned sights (front and back sights) over on his Gun Boards on the 1917's :

http://luger.gunboards.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=5508

You might want to give him your info.

I could not tell if your front sight was fine-tune type or not...

Yep...even the screw on your rear sight still has some fire-blue left on its finish...!
