I recently aquired a 1940 Krieghoff. I would like to know about the British capture markings. In Randal Gibson's book their is very little information.
It is stamped on the barrel, 752', 13 TONS, 9mm, and NP. |

They are not capture markings. They just indicate that at one point the Luger was available on the commercial market in the UK (e.g. through a gun/sporting good store) and was required to be proof tested.

Marc,
Some/many collectors have the opinion that British import/proofing stampings on a collector-grade Luger will detract from its value potential. |
