I just purchased an Erfurt 4754. I also have a DWM 5988a project that now needs only one piece to be complete. Please tell me all you can about them as these are my first Lugers. I enhanced a few of the pictures in an effort to show detail. My camera isn't that great.
The DMW looks like some pieces are gold-plated. It's actually straw. It has an original magazine. All numbers match, but the last digit on the fram has been over stamped, but the last 8 is visible. ![]() ![]() The Erfurt has repro grips and magazine. All the numbers match with the exception of the barrel and breech. The breech has been stamped with a matching number, presumably at some later date. The trigger and extractor have machine turnings. ![]() ![]() Thanks in advance. Edit: added pictures. |

It is kinda a pain to go to a different site and then figure out each gun.
Much better to list each gun with pictures here and a full description of each, in seperate postings.

No problem. The DWM was $600 and the Erfurt was $521. I think I did OK, but I don't know much about them.
