Would this be not legal in the U. S. because of the stock with it? If so, I guess you could pay $200 for a stamp for a short barrel rifle. But could you import such a weapon?

I don't understand German, or whatever language this is, but the display does seem to say NO international shipping. So, unless you have some sort of contact with an international importer, the legality question is moot.

Hello,
Another nice Commemorative for sale from the same seller.
If somebody is interested, I suggest to contact him to clarify the exportation issue.
Have fun.

Mauro, I am under the impression that the artillery commemorative came with only the long barrel. Has the short barrel been added on?

Hi Aaron,
The short barrel is simply an add-on. Actually the LP08 was sold in the leather case with stock and tools.
Cheers,
Mauro

Nice item too.
It seems that the stock is missing. In addition the 1975 written on the plate is incorrect. These pistols were made in 1985-86.
Cheers,
Mauro

Hi.
Thought it would be nice to add this to this topic;

I was offered this nice Commemorative P08 a few weeks ago.
It is used but in perfect condition.
Come's in a box together with two mags and as you can see in the pics it's #57 out of a series of 250.
It is still for sale because I preferred a WW2 shooter.

Greetings from Peet.

Hey G.
It is for sale in a very small gunshop nearby both of us. Lamar-techniek
Maybe I should have bought this piece but as I am more of a shooter than a collector........ time will tell.

Buying it alongside my Byf 41 is not an option. As you know, we are only allowed 5 guns, so owning 2 P08's (one shooter and one collector-piece) would be a waste of one 'spot' on my permit. To bad....

See 'ya

Me too. I still have a spot on my permit to buy about 400,000 more guns and I was hoping to add a 75 year commemorative Luger...

Hi All:

Note the chip in the grip by the safety, just like an original P-08.

Hi.
About the asking price; you will have to contact the gunstore that has the gun for sale.
The website (well, more like a webpage); http://home.tiscali.nl/lamartechniek/

Greetings from Peet.

Hi:

The grip chip shouldn't detract from the value too much, though it should be considered in the asking price.

Damned nice little pistol if you ask me.
