Default Gun Collector's Freedom Act of 2008

I'm guessing this is a reasonably accurate approximation of what the Democrats will call their law banning gun shows when they get around to it, which will no doubt happen sometime soon.

But I'm wondering what can/will be done to circumvent this new assault on liberty when it happens.
In order for such a ban to have any effect at all, they would have to require that gun sales between private parties be "registered" somehow or go through an FFL.
If not, what would keep private individuals from gathering together at a private "invitation only" affair; i.e. a gun show without dealers.

I've been going to gun shows since the early 60's and would consider a ban to be the last straw that means I would feel no further obligation to obey firearms laws, but that's just me.

We all know it's going to happen. We just don't know when.
