Default John Martz Luger Carbine

Does anyone have an early John Martz Carbine. He said on early ones he made a fork at the rear of the support for the fore stock so as not to destroy the original serial number. I would appreciate seeing a picture of how it was made and attached.

RG, Sorry I don't have one or a photo, but as I recall, the only difference was that he cut out a section of the forearm support, where it would normally be silver soldered to the front of the frame, covering the serial #. TH
