Default Another Feeding Problem

I have a .30 Luger that's having a feeding problem. On the first rounds out of the magazine ( a new MecGar), it won't go into battery by about one-half inch. I can reach up and push it into battery easily. It does this until the last 2-3 rounds in the magazine then everything is just fine. Feeds perfectly.

Does this sound like a recoil spring problem????
