Default Need help identifying

this ammo pouch. Has no markings other than the number stamped on the belt loop. Looks like it was originally brown and dyed black. Is this Navy, Artillery, Bulgarian or ?????

Gentlemen all, my tight lipped Bretheren, While this is true, this does not relagate this fine pouch to the scrapheap. It would look fine on any Imperial Navy strap for the not overly wealthy or particular collector. This one seems to be in very nice shape.
These are virtually identical to German Imperial pouches except for markings are they not? Imperial Navy double mag pouches are not exactly falling out of MY trees around here.

High, Jerry is right and I hope my seemingly curt response did not indicate that the pouch is without merit. The Portos do show up alot more often than any of the other "real" pouches but still command values of +/- $200. As Jerry pointed out, they are dead ringers for the Navies except for markings and back strap.

Gentlemen,

I thank you for your help. Now I know which "rig" to put it with. It will become a part of my Portuguese "Luger, holster, and ammo pouch" rig.

Hugh,
Glad you have a rig to go with it. I didn't mean to indicate it wasn't a good piece. As a matter of fact, I would love to have it to go with one of my Portuguese rigs (I have GNR 2268v that isn't too far from the 2760 on your pouch!). Finding leather in that nice condition is getting to be really tough. Congratulations.
