Hey Noel,

How have you been?

No, I'll never fire it. I'll leave that to someone down the line. I had a P.38 in .30 Luger cal. that I bought a couple of years ago. I thought at the time that it was just one of the Interarms imports. And bought it to shoot because I love the cartridge.

After I got it home and started looking at it. I discovered that it was not export or import marked. And was new in the box and unfired.

I checked with the dealer and found that the collector who's estate it came out of , was a close friend of the Walther family. And that either he bought it at the factory or it was given as a gift. And bypassed the manditory export- import marking. It was also a 100 year "C" marked piece.

It now resides in the collection of a well known P.38 collector and friend who is also a member of this forum. Sacrificed for Luger money.

Ron
