Default French Luger

a new article in french on "gazette des armes" written by Luc Guillou said :
"the Parabellum sold between 1909 to 1914 by The Manufacture de Saint Etienne has the same characterics as the 1906 model made by DWM.

It was sold under the ref 38 from 1909 to 1911 for 7,65 barrel length 120mm and 9 mm barrel length 100mm

In 1912 the ref 38 is only used for the 7,65 ...and ref 41 for the 9mm until 1914

You may find a specific serial number (st. etienne) on the bottom
the "Manufacture fran§aise d'armes et de cycles de St Etienne" on the barrel.

I have some trouble with my scan. I will post a new topic as soon as possible with this article,

best regards,

jm sorriaux
