Anyone live near Ottumwa, Iowa ??

I want to buy a metal lathe for gunsmithing from a guy there, but he insists that it is local pickup only... he refuses to ship it.

I can get a great deal on this lathe, but I would need someone to pick it up and pack it or mount it on a skid and arrange for shipment, ...because if I have to fly into IA, rent a car and go there, pack it, arrange to ship it, and then fly back, it just won't be worth it...

Anyone got some time on their hands and willing to help out?

We can negotiate your expenses if you are local to Ottumwa...

Please let me know ASAP with a reply to this thread (before he finds another buyer).
