Hello Mauro,

This is what I get when I go to your website. I have never been able to get the photos.

Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Mauro's site has a lot of graphics and animation. Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, you may have to wait quite a while for the entire page to come up.

What Ron said. Since it takes so long, the pictures may simply "time out". Try right-clicking one of the red-x-boxes and select 'show picture'. If it comes up, your problem is simply speed.

Also, you have to have Java on your computer. There was a time when it came with Windows, then it was taken out, since that time, Windows again has that capability and Microsoft pays Sun or asomebody for the use of the java engine.

You can actually install the java client engine if you do not have it, and it comes on when you go to a java site, such as Mauro's.

Hi Toggle top,
The previous answers cover all points. Actually I have a broad band connection therefore the pics pop up quickly in my computer. I can understand that with a normal speed they can take a while.
In any case you should correctly see the photos after few seconds, if not there is a problem. Try to refresh the site more time, the photos should appear.

You have to install a java engine to see the slide show with the Luger, historical pics and stuff like this.

Try again after installing the java engine and let me know.
Ciao
Mauro

In addition, since you are using the America Online proprietary browser, the bottom of the image you posted indicates that the browser is blocking some pop-ups... these might be Mauro's photos... Scrap the AOL browser, and once you log on to the internet using AOL, then minimize their browser and open Internet Explorer, or my personal favorite Mozilla...

You will find your internet surfing much more enjoyable without AOL's idea of what is good for you...

John hit it on the head, some browsers just won't do it with the new applications. I use Firefox which is a Mozilla based browser and the page loaded in less than two seconds, all of it. You can get it here for free...
http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ Ed mentioned the Java engine, you can get the latest Sun Java engine here... http://java.com/en/ download both of these and you should have no further problem with these applications. Read the instructions for using and configuring them first.

Default Help Appreciated

Howdy,

With the help of all the replies I am now able to view Mauro's site. John, your suggestion regarding the use of IE works for me but my computer is so slow at 28.8 kbps it takes a lot of time to view the pages, but I can at least get to look at it. I do appreciate all the replies and assistance.

Thanks To All,
