Default 1913/1920 Double Dated DWM

Hi:

I'm looking at a very nice 1913/1920 Double Dated DWM.

The frame has a stock lung. Is this normal for a 1913 DWM?

Also, were these double dated pistols run through an arsenal to replace worn parts, etc., like the Police rebuilds?

Thanks!!

Sieger

DWM P-08 delivered after August 4, 1913, were to have a stock lug, so the Luger you are looking at is "normal" in this respect.

The 1920 property stamp was intended to identify guns owned by the government. They were so stamped irrespective of condition or use--this was not any kind of rework program, only an identification program.
